In the 1920 Census, Laura is listed as living with her husband, William H., and three children, Marion W., age 7, Mildred L., age 6, and Oliver R., age 2, in Payette County, Idaho. Her husband is listed as a `farmer, fruit grower` working for his own account. Her husband`s birthplace is listed as California, his father`s as Ohio, and his mother`s as Kentucky. Laura`s birthplace is listed as Iowa, her father`s as England [rather than Wales], and her mother`s as Kentucky, an obvious error by the enumerator, entering her husband`s mother`s birthplace rather than her own mother`s birthplace, which was Iowa.
