Also at home was Benjamin (Father) Widower, (74), formerly dresser cotton.Married Peter Atherton at Norbury Church Stockport on 29 Nov 1851. (Of age). Peter was a Bobbin turner and Mary was a Baker. Residence for both shown as Bosden. Father James Atherton also a Bobbin Turner and John Wright also a Baker! Witness were Nicholas Cookson and Robert Sutcliffe. (NB. Proctor (9 months) born Portwood, Stockport. (The child is probably Alfred - aged 9 Years!)In 1871 census (39) living at 78 Wellington St, Ashton-u-Lyne with husband Thomas (32) a tailor, and children Frances M E Proctor (9) and Ellen Proctor (8).Died 17 Jan 1874 (42) at 10 Staffords **** Road, ***bridge Lane, Stockport. `Ahthisis 4 months Pulmonalis`.
