I have a stamped death certificate and will from the probate office for Francis Sturges recording him as ending his life at Unsted Park Nursing Home, Godalming, Surrey. He Died on 23 Feb 1973. He had Parkinsons quite badly when we knew him. We used to visit Frensham Pond when ever we went up to visit Granny. Before he died we used to get in for free and have tea brought round to the boat house. Towards the end and after Olive died we would visit him at his cottage after a visit to the pond. Visiting the pond after it became property of the National Trust was not the same.
