  James Jasper Atherton was an audit clerk when he joined up in 1915 and was living with his father in Hamilton, a suburb of Brisbane Qld. He died on Aug 11, 1971, aged 77 at Woodbury Retirement Village in Winston Hills, a suburb of Sydney NSW.
