    • In the 1871 Census living in Bagillt (?) Road Greenfield Flintshire was William Williams Head M 34 Engine Driver on Steam Ship b. Holywell, Eliza Williams Wife M 46 b. Llanasa, Mary E Williams Dau 8 Scholar b. Holywell, George Atherton Step Son Unm 20 Wire Drawer b. Holywell, Joseph Atherton Sep Son Unm 22 Engine Driver at Colliery b. Holywell, Ann Atherton Step Dau 17 Domestic Duties b. Holywell.From Gwenda - Anne married Edward Dennis in Northop Church on 3rd August 1874. She was 21 from Pentremoch and her father was Charles Atherton a Gardener. Edward was 24 a Labourer from Pentremoch and his father was Edward Dennis a Mariner.
      They had 2 children, Charles Edward and Arthur.
      On the 1881 Census they were living at Bagillt Road, Greenfield, Holywell.
      On the 1891 & 1901 Census they were living at North View Villa's, Greenfield, Holywell.
      In the Holywell Burial Register on 14th May 1927 there's an entry for Edward Dennis from Station Rd, Greenfield aged 79. It said he was buried in Greenfield Cemetery.
      In the Holywell Burial Register on 26th January 1932 there's an entry for Annie Dennis from 2, Castle View, New Rd aged 78. She was also buried at Greenfield.
      The Gravestone in Greenfield Cemetery reads: - In loving Memory of Capt Edward Dennis who departed this life May 10th 1927 aged 79 yrs. Also his beloved wife Annie Dennis who departed this life Jan 23rd 1932 aged 78 yrs. Peace Perfect Peace.
